Some happy years go by and our older dog Bambi, also a rescue, passed away of old age in 2014. My husband seeing how upset we were one day brings me Francesca, another Boston Terrier. Chowda and her became the best of friends. And so it started. We waited about a year and let them loose. From this union we got India, then a year later Taco. Everything was great! But then after a bad storm in 2016 our fence was damaged and in November a week before Thanksgiving Chowda got out and made it a neighbor's yard where he found a Sago Palm. If you don't know , a
Sago Palm is a prehistoric plant that many people have in their yards are actually very poisonous to humans and animals alike. So to make a long story short, Chowda chewed on part of the plant, threw some up, and unfortunately passed away. We were devistated.
Now happy times. We miss Chowda everyday. But we are happy to have his kids and widow with us and we have since made it very difficult for these other guys to get out. So far so good.
